After a winter hiatus, state codes activity has started up again. This report details the building energy codes activity in MIdwest/Plains states since the beginning of 2012.
This MEEA Policy Webinar, held on November 17, 2011, outlined the leading states in the Midwest, reviewed current trends, and highlighted programs in Illinois and Michigan, drawing from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy's 2011 State Energy Efficiency Scorecard and energy efficiency experts from the state energy offices.
The following is a brief rundown of building energy codes activity in the Midwest/Plains states. Because of relatively slow building energy codes activity, this update covers the time period from August 23 - September 30, 2011 rather than its normal biweekly coverage.
