Member RFQ: AEP Ohio's Bid to Win Program

The Bid to Win Program is a series of online reverse auctions for financial incentives. During the auctions, pre-qualified customers and Solution Providers can submit bids to deliver energy savings at a price per kilowatt hour (kWh). The pre-qualified bidder(s) with the lowest bid prices will then be eligible for large incentive awards of potentially more than $1 million for the completion of energy efficiency projects. Each project must result in 3 million kWh or more in energy savings to be eligible for the program. Projects that deliver between 90-110% of the estimated kWh savings after project verification will also receive an additional incentive bonus of $0.005/kWh from AEP Ohio.

In order to be able to participate in the program, customers and Solution Providers must respond to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) prior to an auction and be approved to participate in the program.

Eligible projects must be pre-approved prior to implementation, meet the minimum energy saving level, and meet all program requirements as stated in the RFQ. RFQ responses are due by Friday, December 20th.
