Prior to MEEA, Maddie was an attorney for a national law firm, defending environmental and product toxic tort matters (asbestos, benzene and other chemical exposure). Previously, Maddie practiced civil defense litigation in her hometown of St. Louis. She represented medical professionals and attorneys in malpractice cases, as well as various employers in matters of discrimination. In connection with this work, she was named to Super Lawyers’ 2020 and 2021 Rising Stars list.
