George Malek is the Director of Energy Efficiency Services at ComEd who has managed the successful implementation of ComEd's Energy Efficiency Program since 2008.
Under the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program, customers have saved more than $2.1 billion on their electric bills, eliminated 27.1 billion pounds of CO2 emissions, the equivalent to taking 2.5 million cars off the road; and reduced energy usage by more than 19.5 million megawatt hours – enough energy to power more than 2.1 million homes for a year.
